In the peak season rafting is available every day at 8:30, 12:00 and 16:00. During the low season you can decide between 9:00 or 12:00. For a more adrenaline ride we recommend to visit the valley in the spring and autumn time due to the higher water level of the Soča River.

There are several takeoffs in the Soča valley, which allows paragliders to find a suitable takeoff in a different weather conditions.
Some of the sports agencies in the Soča Valley carry out tandem flights with paragliders. Paragliding in tandem does not require any previous experience.

The high mountain world of the Julian Alps. - KOZJAK WATERFALL
Not far from Kobarid, above the emerald green Soča River, there is a gorge of the Kozjak stream, where the 15-metre-high Kozjak Waterfall particularly stands out. An footpath will lead you to the waterfall. In some places, it is complemented by small wooden bridges and ends with a terrace with a mystical view of the rocky amphitheatre
- KOBARID TOWN
Kobarid is a historic town beneath the Krn mountain range (2244 m), where the battles at the Isonzo Front raged. Take a walk on the Kobarid historic route, visit Toncov grad, the famous Kobarid Museum, the best European museum of 1993, and the Cheesemaking Museum.
- MANGART MOUNTAIN
The fourth highest mountain in Slovenia offers magnificent views of the east and west Julian Alps. The Italian and the Slovenian trail leads from Mangartsko sedlo (2072 m) to the summit of Mangart (also known as Mangrt).
- TRENTA VALLEY
Among unique areas, special attention is paid to the Trenta Valley, a part of the Triglav National Park. The valley begins at the source of the River Soča, with the Julijana Alpine Botanical Gardens, Soča trail and the famous gorge of the Soča and Mlinarica nearby.
- MOUNTAIN PASS VRŠIČ
The highest Slovenian road pass, which connects Bovec with Kranjska Gora, is an excellent starting point for mountain tours in the Julian Alps with incredible panoramic road.
